We are happy to announce the TeaP 2021 (Tagung experimentell arbeitender Psychologen; Conference of Experimental Psychologists), which will be organized by Ulm University. The TeaP is a well-known psychological research conference of junior and senior scientists working in different fields of Experimental Psychology. Official conference language is English, although some sessions might be in German.
After two extraordinary TeaP years (the first visit to an English-speaking country in 2019 in London; the cancellation of TeaP 2020 in Jena due to the COVID-19 pandemic), we have decided that TeaP 2021 will take place in any case. Thus, the current information provides you with important dates.
Organizing a conference during pandemic times requires patience and flexibility of organizers and attendees. Following the timeline of German government, we wait until October 2020 before we finally decide whether we may be able to hold a physical conference or whether we have to switch to a virtual conference. In case of a physical event, Teap 2021 takes place from March 14 to March 17 2021 at Ulm University. Please save the date. The virtual conference will have the same beginning, but most likely will last longer. We have reserved hotel rooms so that room booking is possible after our announcement about the format of the conference in October 2020.
We cordially invite contributions from any field of experimental psychology; General, Biological, Developmental, Social, Clinical, Engineering Psychology, or other applications.
The physical or virtual format will affect the kinds of contributions. Hence, exact details will be specified later. Here are some important deadlines:
|Registration opens||November 1 2020|
|Submission ends||December 4 2020|
|End of early-bird rate||January 22 2021|
|End of regular rate||February 20 2021|
|Begin of TeaP 2021||March 14 2021|
We look forward to an intense adventure of TeaPping during pandemic times. Up-to-date information can be found on this webpage.
Hopefully seeing you all in Ulm next year, take care,Anke Huckauf, Martin Baumann, Marc Ernst, Cornelia Herbert, Markus Kiefer (TeaP 2021 organizing team)
