Teap 2021 in Ulm

Pressestelle der Universität Ulm

Welcome to the 63rd TeaP

We are happy to announce the TeaP 2021 (Tagung experimentell arbeitender Psychologen; Conference of Experimental Psychologists), which will be organized by Ulm University. The TeaP is a well-known psychological research conference of junior and senior scientists working in different fields of Experimental Psychology. Official conference language is English, although some sessions might be in German.

After two extraordinary TeaP years (the first visit to an English-speaking country in 2019 in London; the cancellation of TeaP 2020 in Jena due to the COVID-19 pandemic), we have decided that TeaP 2021 will take place in any case. Given that the COVID-19 pandemic is still serious, and health regulations for spring 2021 are difficult to foresee, we have decided that the TeaP 2021 will be held as virtual conference following the slogan: Teap@Home.

We hope that you join us in this adventure and cordially invite contributions from any field of experimental psychology; General, Biological, Developmental, Social, Clinical, Engineering Psychology, or other applications.

Contributions can be submitted via the abstract submission web site.

Conference Proceedings as Special Issue in Open Psychology

We are pleased to offer participants of the TeaP 2021 to submit a manuscript related to their presentation (original research or review) to the special issue “Advances in Experimental Psychology” to be published in Open Psychology without article processing charges. Please indicate your interest in submitting a manuscript by checking the corresponding box, when uploading your conference abstract to the TeaP 2021 conference management tool. More information about this special issue can be found here.

Poster Awards of the Section General Psychology

The Section General Psychology of the German Psychological Society (DGPs) will grant three Poster Awards for the best posters (=short presentation at Teap 2021). Nominees must be student/associate/full members of the Section General Psychology (proof of submitted application form is sufficient). More information about the poster award can be found here.

We look forward to an intense adventure of TeaPping during pandemic times. Up-to-date information can be found on this webpage.

Hopefully seeing you all virtually at TeaP 2021 next year,
take care,
